On the 30th September TCC will be presenting a free webinar, hosted by APMG International, exploring the role of Business Analysis in an Agile World.
Effective business analysis skills are widely regarded in project management and product development circles as being critical in helping organizations to achieve their business goals. Many of the skills used by business analysts in traditional projects are transferrable, but an Agile environment requires that the BA understands where these skills fit in the product or project lifecycle, how they can best support regular and incremental delivery of working product and which new skills, specific to Agile working, are required to make the greatest contribution to their team. AgileBA provides this guidance.
During the 45 - 60 minute session, Dot Tudor of TCC will also provide an overview of the AgileBA training and certification programme, including the new AgileBA Practitioner qualification. The scheme’s syllabus and exams are based on the AgileBA Handbook, written by Dot Tudor and published by the DSDM Consortium.
It has been just over one year since TCC ran the world's first APMG Agile Business Analysis training course. Developed by TCC, in collaboration with the DSDM Consortium and APMG International, AgileBA places the business analyst squarely in the core project / product team; it fits perfectly within APMG's Agile Project Management ecosystem, as well as aligning well with Scrum and other Agile methods. Since the qualification was first released, a lot has happened in the Agile Business Analysis world (including the release of a practitioner-level certification). The importance of business analysis in Agile is becoming more widely recognised and there has never been a better time to learn how this important discipline is best integrated into your Agile projects.
If you are a business analyst who is new to Agile, a project manager or scrum master who is looking to discover where business analysis fits within Agile, or an Agile team member looking to learn business analysis skills, don't miss the opportunity to learn more about the exciting world of the AgileBA.
